Yes, our dry ice is food grade! Although dry ice is commonly used in specialty foods and drinks, we do not endorse its use for this purpose, as there are potential risks involved. Please check out the next question for information on safe handling practices for dry ice!

It is recommended to use gloves and/or tongs when handling dry ice, as it can cause skin burns if touched with bare hands. Store dry ice in a Styrofoam container to reduce sublimation. We offer high quality Insulated Styrofoam shippers for purchase through our website, ideal for storing any temperature sensitive product. It is also important to keep dry ice in a well-ventilated area, as it releases carbon dioxide gas which can be dangerous in confined spaces. Inhaling the vapours can result in serious injury!

5lb of dry ice kept outside will last around 2-3 hours, depending on temperature. In a cooler, it can last around 15 hours.

The delivery fee will vary depending on the size of the order as well as the delivery location. The delivery fee will range between $27-$31. Orders of $95 and above will likely qualify for free delivery! However, if the delivery location is of a particularly long distance, the delivery charge may still apply.
